Take Your Business On The Road
Founded in 1949, Brown built the first all-aluminum dry freight body at its facility in Lawrence, Kan. Family-owned and operated until 2008, Brown is now a division of B-12 Transportation, LLC, which includes Diamond Coach, Oswego, Kan.
Our trucks are top-quality in both design and construction. We start by learning about your work habits, and then, we design a truck that incorporates time-saving features to help you be as efficient as possible. We then build that truck with the best quality materials using craftsmanship worthy of the contents you’ll be transporting. We use features that surpass the competition. These include recessed LED clearance lights, heavy-duty cast aluminum upper corner caps, stainless steel frames and domestic oak flooring. At Brown Industries, our experience in building top-quality trucks helps us innovate for the future. A few years ago, our Lock-n-Load truck received a patent. This truck system allows for a high degree of flexibility for customers in loading and hauling dry freight and is one example of how innovation drives our business.

All Brown Cargo Vans use a consistent 2” rivet pattern on the sides and front for drum-tight construction. Our sides and front are manufactured on a state-of-the-art automated machine that punches the holes, feeds the rivets and sets the rivets in one action.

Vehicles that need to withstand severe forklift loading are built with 7 gauge steel reinforcement in the drain threshold bottom plate.
